I’m interested in learning how to build and operate UK-based proxies, but I’m not sure where to start.
I’d like to understand the basics such as what infrastructure is needed, the difference between residential, ISP, and datacenter proxies, expected costs, and what makes a proxy service reliable.
If anyone has experience setting up UK proxies, what would you recommend learning or preparing first?
I’d start with UK datacenter proxies since they’re the easiest to set up and learn from. Focus first on IP sourcing, authentication, bandwidth, uptime, and monitoring.
Residential and ISP proxies are more complicated because you need legitimate IP sources and stronger compliance/abuse controls. Once you understand the basics with datacenter proxies, moving into ISP proxies will make a lot more sense.
